HONESTY
Honestly
let's be honest,
What if we use our actions toward one another and our words spoken to each other honestl
y? Our actions... "Actions are more significant than words." A quote taken from the book will and doom written by Gersham Bulkeley in 1692. Let's be real, sometimes we over look our actions. We don't think and we let our flesh lead us. Or we choose to let our desires or our momentary need/affirmation justify the truth of our action. This isn't something easily conquered, for it is a required taste.
According to Dictionary.com- to be Honest is to be Virtuous, and to withhold virtue is true beauty.

This comes to you from the honesty of my heart in hopes that God will show you the honest truth in yours...
There is nothing but truth in Him.

Candid: truthful and straight.
Although I do have a love for fashion photography, I find such a sincere beauty in candid photos, because of the truth that is captured within them.
Lets live in truth not only through our words, but let the actions that you present represent who you are, and who you are, who He is.

Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart. Psalms 51:6

Process

The Process...

The Process may feel long, unnecessary, or boring, but don't forget the importance of the journey. Each part of the Process is VITAL. So soak in the richness of your growth and you will discover the beauty that is entwined within every moment.

ABIDE

To act in one accordance. Abide
- Lately my heart has been in what feels like cement. I've never had to hard of a time feeling connected with God (that's not entirely true) but more than ever I've been feeling like I have to try with him more than before, like it's all up to me to find him, as if I'm learning all over again who he is and what he's all about on my own... which inspired me to write these words in my Journal: -I know you're near, but you feel so far away from me. What if your presence was so tangible I could feel your touch. Can I ever Get to that place with you. I just feel overwhelmed at how big you are, like my reach is to short. What are you thinking about me? What would you like from me? How can I be close with you, I feel like I'm doing it all wrong. I'm going to follow your words and take your advice which is to just spend time with you. Slowly I will become close to you and understand you and know you. Show yourself to me.

As easy as it is to feel far away from him, I think I am begining to find it is just as easy to ABIDE in him.

Invoke:

The action of “invoking” is usually more direct and active. It originally involved calling upon or summoning up a god or spirit. An invocation calls upon whatever is invoked to do something or serve a function. “Invoke” now can also be used to mean “to appeal to, to cite” http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/evoke.html

to cause, call forth, or bring about, to declare to be binding or in effect, to call for with earnest desire. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/invoke

Dear Reader,
God spoke this word to me about a year ago, not knowing what it meant or who it had to do with. I felt motivated to start a blog and title it Invoke. As I searched the definition of Invoke, still trying to make sense of what it means, something clicked within me, We are called called by him with earnest desire...
we are his Invoke.

I hope to use this blog to inspire you weekly by speaking from the depths of my heart. (this blog thing is new to me) so be patient with me as I figure it all out.
I will share with you the vulnerability of my heart through photos, music, art, and stlye in hopes of awakening something within yours.
